Baby plush toys face the most rigorous safety scrutiny of any toy category. We engineer safety into every material decision and construction detail -- long before a prototype is made. Our baby plush safety testing process covers all five critical risk areas.
Fabric Safety
We use OEKO-TEX certified, azo-free plush fabrics with formaldehyde content below regulatory limits. All outer fabrics pass flammability and colorfastness tests per EN71-2 and ASTM F963.
Filling Material
Only virgin PP cotton filling is used -- no recycled or mixed-fiber stuffing. Filling density is calibrated by product size to prevent clumping and maintain shape consistency across bulk production.
Accessories & Attachments
Eyes, noses, buttons, and decorative elements for 0-36 month products are embroidered -- never plastic snap-fit. All accessories are pull-force tested to exceed EN71-1 requirements.
Seam Strength
All seams on baby plush products use double-lock stitch construction. Seam strength is tested at QC stage -- minimum 70N pull force required before bulk approval.
Small Part & Choking Risk
Products for under-3 age groups undergo small parts cylinder testing. Detachable components, loose threads, and ribbon trims are eliminated or secured to meet CPSC and EN71 choking hazard guidelines.

Sewn-In Care Labels
Mandatory washing instruction symbols (ISO 3758), fiber content declaration, country of origin, and importer name/address -- all printed on woven or printed care labels sewn to the product.
Age Warning Labels
EN71 and ASTM require clear age-grading warnings (e.g., "Not suitable for children under 36 months") with the standardized warning icon. We apply these to both the product and outer packaging.
CE & Certification Marks
CE mark placement on packaging with correct sizing per EU Toy Safety Directive. CPSIA tracking label (manufacturer, date, batch) for US-bound products. We provide artwork files for your review before production.
Custom Retail Packaging
Polybag with hang hole, window box, gift box, or FBA-ready poly mailer -- all available with full custom printing. We can match your brand color profile and include barcode/UPC placement per your retailer spec sheet.
Suffocation Warning on Bags
All polybags for baby products include mandatory suffocation warning text per ASTM F1921 and EU packaging regulations. Bag thickness is ≥38 microns for compliance.

From Your Artwork to a Compliant, Approved Sample
Our structured sampling and safety testing process is designed to eliminate surprises -- so what you approve in sample is exactly what arrives in bulk.
Design Intake
Submit artwork, reference photos, or sketches. We assess feasibility and clarify material, size, and safety requirements for the target age group.
Material Selection
We select baby-safe fabrics, filling, and trims from our approved material library. All materials are pre-screened for EN71-3 chemical compliance.
Prototype Development
Our pattern makers build the first physical sample in 10-15 days. You receive photos and measurements for review before shipping the physical sample.
Revision & Approval
We revise the sample based on your feedback -- color, shape, expression, filling density. Revision rounds continue until you sign off on the golden sample.
Lab Testing
Pre-production samples are submitted to accredited third-party labs (SGS, Intertek, BV) for EN71, ASTM F963, or CPSIA testing. We coordinate all submissions and share test reports with you.
Sample Timeline & Fees
Standard sample lead time is 10-15 business days from design confirmation. Sample fees are charged upfront and deducted from your bulk order upon placement. Rush sampling available upon request.

6 QC Checkpoints Before Your Order Ships
Our full quality control process for baby plush products is structured around six mandatory inspection stages. Each stage has defined pass/fail criteria -- and every shipment includes a final QC report.
Incoming Material Inspection
All fabrics, filling, threads, and accessories are inspected against approved material specs before cutting begins. Rejected materials are quarantined immediately.
Cutting & Pattern Accuracy
Cut panels are checked against the approved pattern template. Dimensional tolerances are maintained within ±3mm to ensure consistent shape across the production run.
In-Line Sewing Inspection
QC staff inspect seam quality, stitch density, and embroidery accuracy during production. Pull-force tests are performed on a sample basis at this stage.
Stuffing & Shape Check
Filling weight is verified per unit. Shape and firmness are compared against the golden sample. Asymmetry, lumping, or under-filling are flagged and corrected before closing seams.
100% Visual Inspection
Every single finished unit is visually inspected for stray threads, surface defects, color inconsistency, label placement, and packaging integrity before being packed for shipment.
Final Pre-Shipment Report
A complete QC report with photo documentation, measurement records, defect rate summary, and packing list is provided before shipment authorization. Third-party inspection (e.g., SGS) available on request.
