The approved golden sample serves as both the legal and physical production benchmark. Our QC team references it at every stage -- cutting, sewing, stuffing, and final inspection. We conduct 100% visual inspection and provide a final QC report before shipment, so you have documented evidence that the bulk order meets the agreed standard.
Can we sign an NDA before sharing our designs?
Absolutely. We are happy to sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement before any artwork, character sheets, or project details are exchanged. Simply request an NDA when you first contact us and we will arrange it promptly -- typically within one business day. You can also provide your own NDA template if preferred.
What specific measures protect my IP during production?
Your design files and production specs are stored in a client-isolated folder system accessible only to the team assigned to your project. Pattern pieces, tech packs, and golden samples are labeled and archived per client and are never shared or reused. Staff involved in licensed or sensitive character projects are briefed on confidentiality obligations. We do not display, photograph, or publish client work without explicit written consent.
Will my design or character be shown to other clients or used as a reference?
Never. All submitted artwork, character references, and design briefs are used exclusively for your project. We do not use your designs as portfolio examples, sales references, or inspiration for other clients without your prior written approval. This applies to both the sampling stage and after production is complete.
Do you have experience producing licensed or IP-controlled characters?
Yes. Mavo Toys holds Disney FAMA authorization, which means we have passed Disney's stringent factory audit covering IP protection, working conditions, and quality management. This accreditation reflects our experience working within strict licensed character production environments. We are familiar with the approval workflows, revision documentation, and confidentiality requirements that IP licensors typically require.
What happens to my design files after the project is completed?
Your design files, tech packs, and production records are retained securely for the purpose of supporting future reorders or revisions. They are not repurposed, transferred, or referenced for any other client project. If you prefer that files be deleted after project completion, we can accommodate that request -- simply let us know in writing and we will confirm deletion.
How does the sample revision process work for character accuracy?
After receiving your artwork and brief, our pattern makers develop a physical prototype within 10-15 days. We send you detailed photos and measurements for review. You can provide written or annotated feedback and we will revise accordingly. This cycle continues until you are fully satisfied with the character accuracy before we proceed to bulk production. All revision rounds are documented to maintain a clear approval trail.
Can you help with CE, EN71, or ASTM safety compliance for my market?
Yes. We are familiar with the major toy safety standards required for European (CE / EN71), US (ASTM F963), and Australian markets.
