Your Character Designs Are Safe With Us

All design files are stored in a restricted internal system, accessible only to the assigned project team. We do not share, resell, or display your characters without written permission.

Approved Sample as Gold Standard

The signed-off sample is physically retained in production as the reference. Pattern files are locked after approval to prevent drift.

FAQ

Common Questions About Character Plush Projects

Answers to the questions IP brands, studios, and creators ask us most often.

Do I need to sign an NDA before sharing my character designs?
Yes -- and we encourage it. We sign a mutual NDA before you share any artwork, character guides, or reference files. This protects your IP throughout the entire project lifecycle, from sampling through production. We treat every client's character designs as strictly confidential.
What files do I need to provide to start a character plush project?
Ideally, a character guide with front/back/side views, Pantone or RGB color codes, expression references, and notes on key details (costume, accessories, textures). We can also work from high-resolution illustrations or 3D renders. The more reference material you provide, the more accurate the first sample will be. We'll guide you through the brief if you're unsure what to prepare.
How many revision rounds are included in the sampling process?
Our standard sample fee includes 2 rounds of minor revisions. Complex IP, mascot, or character projects may include up to 3 rounds when confirmed in the quotation. Each revision is documented with annotated photos so both parties can clearly track changes. Most projects reach approval within 2 rounds. Additional rounds are available if needed. We use a structured feedback form to ensure every revision note is captured and actioned correctly. Learn more on our artwork-to-sample development page.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom character plush?
Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per design. For complex characters with multiple accessories or intricate embroidery, a slightly higher MOQ may apply. We're happy to discuss your specific project -- smaller initial runs for market testing may be possible depending on design complexity and timeline.
Can you handle CE/EN71 or ASTM testing for character plush toys?
Yes. We work with accredited third-party laboratories (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) to arrange EN71 (Europe), ASTM F963 (USA), and other market-specific testing. We can coordinate the entire testing process on your behalf and provide the required documentation for retail, Amazon FBA, or licensor approval. Visit our certifications page for full details.
How do you ensure the bulk production matches the approved sample?
The approved sample is physically retained in production as the gold standard. We conduct three inspection stages: incoming material check, inline inspection at 30% production, and 100% visual final inspection. A QC report with photos and measurements is sent before shipment. Third-party inspection can also be arranged if required by your licensor or retailer. See our factory audit and compliance support page for more.
Do you support private label packaging and custom hang tags?
Yes. We offer full private label packaging including custom printed boxes, poly bags, hang tags, sewn-in labels, and barcode/QR stickers. All packaging is designed to meet your target market's regulatory requirements (age warnings, fiber content, country of origin). We can also produce FBA-ready packaging for Amazon sellers.
