Shell Fabric
Fabric Types We Work With
Each fabric has a distinct texture, pile height, and finish. Our team will recommend the best match based on your character design, target age group, and budget.
Short Plush
Pile height 2-5 mm. Clean edges, excellent detail reproduction for facial features and embroidery. The most common choice for standard plush toys and characters.
Long Plush
Pile height 10-30 mm. Soft, fluffy appearance with a premium tactile feel. Ideal for oversized plush, giant stuffed animals, and lifestyle/collectible products.
Minky
Ultra-soft, velvety microfiber. Extremely smooth to the touch. Widely used in baby plush, comfort toys, and sensory products. Machine washable and hypoallergenic.
Velboa
Short, dense, velvet-like pile. Excellent color vibrancy and consistent surface finish. Popular for promotional plush, keychains, and budget-conscious retail products.
Faux Fur
Realistic animal-coat appearance with multi-tonal texturing. Ideal for realistic animal plush, mascots, and premium lifestyle products. Available in tipped, curly, and long-hair variants.
Eco & Recycled Options
RPET (recycled PET bottle) plush fabric and organic cotton options available. Suitable for sustainability-focused brands, eco-certified retail, and ESG-aligned promotional orders.

Standard polyester fiberfill. Lightweight, resilient, and cost-effective. The default choice for most plush toys. Meets EN71 and ASTM safety standards.
High-Density Fill
Firmer, heavier stuffing for structured shapes. Ideal for mascots, display plush, and products that need to hold a specific pose or posture.
Memory Foam Insert
Slow-rebound foam for premium feel and shape retention. Popular in adult collectibles, lifestyle plush, and therapeutic comfort toys.
Recycled Fill (RPET)
Fiberfill made from recycled plastic bottles. Comparable feel to standard PP cotton, with eco-certification documentation available for retail compliance.
Bean Pellets + PP Cotton Combo
PE pellets in the base combined with PP cotton on top. Creates a weighted, stable toy that sits upright. Common in character display plush and weighted comfort toys. Pellets must pass small-parts safety evaluation for age 3+ products.

These finishing details define character accuracy and brand consistency. We work with your artwork to select the most suitable technique for each element.
Safety Eyes & Noses
Plastic safety eyes with locking washers (EN71 compliant). Available in multiple sizes, colors, and styles. For age 0-3 products, embroidered eyes are required by safety standards.
Embroidery
High-detail machine embroidery for eyes, mouths, logos, and facial expressions. Pantone-matched thread colors. Embroidery is the safest and most durable surface craft -- preferred for baby and infant products.
Heat Transfer Printing
Full-color sublimation printing on flat fabric panels. Ideal for complex gradients, photographic patterns, and brand graphics that cannot be achieved with embroidery alone.
Accessories & Add-ons
Clothing, ribbons, sewn-in tags, woven labels, sound modules, scent inserts, and LED elements. All accessories are evaluated for safety compliance before inclusion in production.

Full Safety Testing GuideAge 0-3: No Plastic Parts
EN71 Part 1 prohibits small detachable parts for toys intended for children under 36 months. Eyes, noses, and all surface details must be embroidered or fabric-applied.
Dye & Chemical Safety (REACH)
All fabrics we use are tested for restricted substances under REACH regulations. Azo dyes, formaldehyde, and heavy metals are screened at the fabric sourcing stage.
Filling Density & Flammability
Filling weight and type affects flammability ratings. For UK/EU retail, BS 5852 and EN71 flammability requirements must be considered when specifying fill density and fabric pile height.
Third-Party Lab Testing
We coordinate with SGS, Intertek, and BV for third-party testing. Test reports can be arranged for CE, EN71, ASTM F963, CPSC, and OEKO-TEX certification as required by your market.
